Slip Form Pour to Begin at Danube Site – Come See It in Action!

Starting Monday, June 23rd, the next exciting phase of construction begins at our Danube site with the slip form pour for the new concrete silos. This method of continuous concrete pouring is a fascinating process to witness — and we’re inviting you to come see it firsthand!

To ensure everyone’s safety while continuing daily operations, we’ve set up designated traffic routes and a safe viewing area.

Visitor Viewing Area

We welcome the public to view the construction from a designated area on the east side of the site.

  • Enter via Hwy 212

  • Park on the grass near the entrance

  • Cones and a Farmward staff member will be on-site to direct you

This is a unique opportunity to see large-scale ag construction up close — safely and conveniently!

Grain Traffic Instructions

Grain deliveries will continue as usual during this time. To accommodate both construction and truck traffic:

    Enter from the east side via Hwy 212

    Proceed to the scale, then continue to the stop sign to allow cement trucks to access the pump truck

    Only one truck per pit at a time

    Return to the scale following the posted traffic diagram

    Exercise extreme caution at all times on site

Agronomy Traffic Instructions

Agronomy operations will continue as normal, with one important update:

  • Use the west entrance only to access the chemical warehouse and office

  • There is no access from west to east—please remain on the west side of the site for all agronomy business
