Empowering Employees to Strengthen Our Communities

Our Farmward and AgQuest employees are the most valuable tool when it comes to strengthening our communities, which is why we're committed to supporting the causes they care about. In an effort to help make a difference, our companies prioritize funding and volunteering for a variety of programs each year, ranging from Meals on Wheels to Kickin' Cancer and other local events and organizations.

Our employees take pride in carrying out our core values.

Supporting Our Communities

Emergency Services and Armed Forces

We can’t help but recognize the many Farmward and AgQuest employees who volunteer on local fire departments and/ or emergency services (both past and present), as well as those who serve or have served in the armed forces. The countless hours they put into training and serving our communities and our great country, is extraordinary and we can’t even begin to communicate what that means to us as a company and how proud we are of them.

Organized by AgQuest employee Jessica Keech, AgQuest/Farmward is responsible for delivering Meals on Wheels one week per month in the Morgan area. Employees sign up for a day or multiple days and pick up two coolers from Gil-Mor Manor in Morgan to make deliveries to elderly residents.

As part of our Adopt-A-Highway program, eight to ten employees put on their high vis vests and a pair of gloves and walk a two-mile stretch picking up trash from ditches and along the road to help keep our rural areas clean. Farmward/AgQuest have adopted three stretches of roadway along Highway 68, Highway 212, and Highway 274. These areas are cleaned by volunteer employees at least twice a year.

Kickin’ Cancer is a local organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families facing cancer by providing both financial and emotional assistance throughout Redwood County. At Farmward and AgQuest, several team members proudly volunteer with Kickin’ Cancer, helping raise funds and awareness through office potlucks, luminary sales, and other fundraising efforts. We are proud to support an organization that stands alongside our neighbors, friends, and family members during one of life’s most challenging journeys—offering understanding, compassion, and tangible support when it’s needed most.

Town Celebrations

Farmward proudly supports the local town celebrations that bring our communities together. Through donations and sponsorships, we help make events like town days, parades, and community festivities possible in the towns we serve. These celebrations are an important part of local tradition, and we’re committed to showing up, both financially and in person, to support them. By investing in these events, Farmward helps strengthen community connections, celebrate local pride, and keep these hometown traditions thriving year after year.

Concern for Community: one of the seven founding cooperative principles.

As a cooperative, Farmward™ recognizes and takes pride in the importance of giving back to our local communities. We strive to support local organizations who focus on the advancement and/or the promotion of agriculture, rural youth organizations such as FFA and 4-H, and emergency/rescue response agencies. Although we give emphasis to these groups, others are welcome to apply.
