Free PL Deadlines Are Approaching
Free PL will be ending at all Farmward locations on August 31. Whether you already have bushels delivered under Free PL or plan to deliver more before the deadline, here’s what you need to know to plan ahead.
Key Dates and Details
- Bushels delivered under Free PL — including everything delivered by August 31 — will not accrue storage until October 10.
- Free PL bushels not sold by end of business on October 9 will be dried and reshrunk to 14%, and storage costs will begin accruing at the Fall 2026 rates starting October 10.
- Free PL bushels cannot be applied to forward contracts. Keep this in mind as you plan your marketing decisions.
